1) a) doesn't work because it is saying for every 24 girls there are 9 boys.
b) doesn't work because it says for every 9 girls there are 24 boys.
c) doesn't work because it says for every 5 girls there are 3 boys.
d) represents the the ratio of girls to boys because if you put the numbers in a fraction you could simplify it to show an easier set of data.
