a)
   28 x 3 = 140

140 – 7 – 12 – 14 – 7 = 100

To find the missing set of data you multiply the mean by the number of sets of data then subtracting the shown data from the total data. Using this method I got 100 as the missing data.

b)
    I would use the median as the best measure of central tendency because 100 is a very significant outlier from the rest of the numbers.

    Good thinking process, try to remember to label your steps, and when selecting another mean because there is an outlier try calculating the new average and explaining why it is better. In this example you should have calculated the median of 12 and explained that there were two numbers above and two below. Level 3
