A, B, C, D = Tank sides
E = Bottom

A + B + C + D = 90cm x 150cm x 4 = 54000cm2
E = 90cm x 90cm = 8100cm2

Total = A + B +C + D + E = 54000 + 8100 = 62100cm2 = 621m2

Glass cost = Total x 24 = 621 x 24 = $14904

It will cost them $14904 to build their aquarium.

    Hey Justin,

    Your process is correct! All we need to do is review converting between cm2 and m2 - you divided by 100 this is not correct and we will talk about this in class.
